last semester
2006年1月18日コメント (1)i cannot believe this is going to be my last semester at UNLV. it seemes like my school life was very short. ah， at some point， i think i should have studied more. well， but i think this is how most people feel when they are going to finish their education. right??? ha
i am doing fine at work... i guess. i got used to be doing the 101s and normally i dont have any trouble checking in the customers any more. ah... but i still dont like most of the customers from japan. in one word， they are just MEAN. japanese people tend to believe that customers are always right no matter what. in fact， i got to meet many japanese people got really mad because of small， tiny mistakes. eg， when i did not use the proper language - i mean KEIGO. well， it is my fault， but i haven’t spoken japanese for most of the time since i moved to vegas， and i forgot some words or expression or whatever. ... well there’s lots of things i wanna say but i stop here. i dont like it when people think that i keep talking b.s for my own mistakes. i just got to admit that that was my fault. that’s it.
but the truth is that the urge to stay in america has been getting stronger and stronger since i started working at the airport. as i said， i have been working for hawaiian airlines too and people use hawaiian always commented that my smiles made them happy too and simply they liked me. and international people who use jal also said the same things to me. mmm i try to provide the same quality of service to all the people but the truth is that i got good comments about my work attitudes only from non-japanese.
i miss my family
i miss foods
but i will definitely miss being myself once i get back to japan. and that is critical.
and if i have a choice， i WILL chose a life where i can be myself and other people have no trouble with it.

今日、学校の前に仕事だったんだけど、
引田○功さんがいました。
で、今日のクラスに、
彼女と同じような化粧をしてた日本人の女の子がいて、
なんか、不思議な気分になりました。
・・・
それだけです（笑）
最近は朝4時起きなので、
もう8時半とかで眠くなってます。
・・・
田舎のばーさんより寝るの早いんですけどね（汗）
まぁ、下手に夜のシフトに入らなきゃいけない仕事よりは
断然いいと思います。
早寝早起き最高☆
・・・
でも、やっぱり、
4時に目覚ましなったら、
止めて、そのまま寝てしまいたい自分がいます。
仕事仕事言ってたら、
夜のお誘いがめっきり減りました（爆）
・・・
今ごろ、Joe氏はどこで何をしてるんだろう？
ま、過去を振り返っても仕方ないし、
時間の無駄です。
なので、もう寝ます（笑）
